The tsunami wave generated by the M 8.7 earthquake off Kamchatka was measured by the pressure sensor at station CDIP 073 Scripps Pier on 30 July 2025. Maximum peak-to-peak displacement was ~30 cm, similar to that reported by the co-located tide gauge among the NOAA operated tsunami capable sensors
